Pride 2010 Info for Marchers

Hey Pride Marchers! Thank you all so much for signing up to march with us this Pride. Please read below for all the necessary details. Let us know if you have any questions.

What: NYC PRIDE 2010
When: Sunday, June 27th at 11:30 AM
Where: 39th St. between Madison and 5th Ave (We’ll be marching in the 5th section, right between the Lesbian and Gay Big Apple Corps Marching Band and the Sundance Outdoor Adventure Society.)

We’ll have a car and tons of schwag. So bring your dodgeball uniforms and any other flare you want, and practice your beauty queen wave: it’s gonna be crazy-fun!

Big Apple Dodgeball is participating in the Pride March this year (Sunday, June 27). It’s an all-day affair, so mark your calendars now! We marched last year and it was a total blast, so we’re doing it all again…

The National Equality March is happening on October 10-11 in Washington, D.C. Join fellow dodgeballers and folks from everywhere who are coming out to support the movement for equal protection in all matters governed by civil law in all 50 states.

BAD! would like to give a big, gay Thank You to everyone who came out and marched with us in the parade yesterday!

What a wonderful day of random dodgeball matches in the middle of 5th Ave, spontaneous games of flip cup (we even played, and may or may not have lost to, the Hunter College kids), and the continuous unloading of swag from the trunk of our beautiful auto-mascot, Madge.

And thanks to everyone in the crowd who cheered us on!

Join us at the Pride Parade!

Big Apple Dodgeball will be marching for the first time ever in the NYC Pride Parade, and we want YOU to march with us! That’s right, we need some fine, flared and fab folks to represent BAD! There will be impromptu flip cup demonstrations and plenty of free stuff to throw to the crowds.

What: BAD!’s Pride Parade
When: Sunday, June 28. Line up at 11:30am
Where: 54th and Madison; Section 6
Attire: Wear your dodgeball shirts — sexy, sporty, fierce. Daisy dukes welcome.
What to bring: Water, sunscreen, hotness

Oh, yes we did. Get warmed up for Pride week by kicking it off with the dodgeball crew. There will be drinks specials, BBQ action and dancing… — three great tastes that taste great together! Join us and bring a few friends, too. Because no one really wants to work on Wednesday, anyway. Did someone say vogue-off, part deux?
