FAQ
When do I register?
Registration will be online on Wednesday, January 26th at 10:00am. (The link will be posted here and on facebook).
How do I register?
We will provide a link closer to registration. Only ONE (1) person from each team can register. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
The person who registers MUST:
- Play on the team he/she is registering
- Provide the full team payment of $300 at the time of registration
- Serve as team captain/point person for the team he/she is registering
- Provide a team name
- Submit a complete and final roster to league@bigappledodgeball.com by Jan. 28.
*It important that you identify only one person to register your team. We WILL NOT give refunds for dually registered teams. If you are confused about this, please ask Code Sexy prior to registration day.
Who Can Register?
EVERYONE. This tournament is open to the public, and there is no preferential status given to vets (or the board). The first 10 teams that register are in the tournament.
How much does it cost to register?
$300 per team.
How many people can be on a team?
Between 6-10 people can play on each team. 6 players from each team play at a time.
Are the teams required to be co-ed?
Yes. Every team’s starting line-up must include ONE member of the opposite sex. This means one member of the opposite sex must start every game played.
What if my team can’t start with a co-ed line-up due to late or absent player(s)?
If your team is not able to start with at least one member of the opposite sex, then you are allowed to start with 5 players. Once the game starts you can catch in a sixth player of any sex. There will be no borrowing/exchanging of players from other teams. However, should a team start more than 3 games (reminder: there are 3 games per match) without a member of the opposite sex throughout the first three weeks, they will be disqualified from the final tournament (week 4).
I want to submit my own team, but I don’t have enough people. What do I do?
On Monday, January 24th, we are having an Open-open Play/Dodgeball Draft for anyone interested in playing in the tournament, whether they have a full team or not. Incomplete teams can meet free agents with which to fill their team rosters, free agents can try to get on partially formed teams or start their own new teams.
When/How do I submit my team roster?
Submit a complete and final roster to league@bigappledodgeball.com by Jan. 28.
What are the important dates related to the tournament?
- Monday, January 24 – Open-open Play/Draft Day
- Wednesday, January 26 – Registration opens at 10am. 1 person from each team registers.
- Monday, January 31 – Week 1
- Monday, February 7 – Week 2
- Monday, February 14 – Week 3
- Monday, February 28 – Week 4

Can I be eliminated from the tournament in the first week?
No. All teams will play all four weeks.
How many teams are in the tournament?

How many matches will I play each week?
You will play three matches each week.
